Abraham has experience representing a wide range of clientele, including international investment firms, residential and commercial property development and management companies, international product suppliers and manufacturers, logistics companies, e-commerce businesses, chemical companies, farming companies and ultra-high-net-worth investors.
Some of Abraham’s previous experience includes, but not limited to:
- Represented a corporation in the Supreme Court of Victoria against property developer corporations for 8-figure damages. Claims included breach of contract, breach of trust, Quistclose trust, knowing assistance and receipt (Barnes v Addy), equitable compensation, and misleading and deceptive conduct under Australian Consumer Law.
- Represented e-commerce companies and their employees in the Federal Court of Australia in relation to an alleged breach of the Corporations Act 2001, breach of confidence, and breach of employment contract.
- Represented a shareholder of an international company in the Supreme Court of Victoria in defending a claim of $3,500,000 for misleading or deceptive conduct (Australian Consumer Law) and claim in the tort of deceit arising from a $200 million infrastructure project.
- Represented a deceased estate in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in relation to a provision claim up to $4,000,000.
- Represented an international manufacturer in the County Court of Victoria in a dispute concerning a breach of supply agreement and conversion, against a distributor, retailer, and intellectual property holding company, with damages exceeding $2,000,000, while defending a counterclaim for damages in the sum of $4,000,000.
